Yeah..How did they get him to do this? My guess is Koonz sweet talked him into it as a favor to someone. Who the hell knows? He sure seems very reluctant at first, but once he gets ramblin', look out!

While watching it I also found this one from May 95, about a year later, and it's really sad how much more worn out he looks. Given when this was shot, what he says at the :30 mark shook me up a bit.

Must be more to that interview, where is the rest?

He looks like he aged 10 years from 94' to 95'... His memory was solid though, he always seemed to recant stories/memories down to the minute detail with all the interviews I've ever seen. Pretty remarkable!

Actually TRG, I think that Jerry sounds a bit fuzzy in the last interview. His speech is a bit slurred, and he is not as sharp and as witty as he appeared in previous years. He was in previous years very sharp, witty and always funny.

I have pretty much enjoyed all of the Jerry interviews, because besides being a great guitar player, Jerry always comes across as warm, engaging, witty and funny. I never met him, but he seems to be a pretty nice guy.

I agree completely that he seems to have faded big time, but in terms of remembering experiences he still seems to have it.

I remember seeing them at Highgate the next month, being right up front and thinking he didn't look good at all. Hard to beleive it's been that long...
