Good Evening All,

Just got all my goodies assembled, and the GCX functioning perfectly. I'm using a Furman gizmo to power it all up, but feel a little cautious about using it on everything at once. What is everyone else doing? Have you built a fancy "Standby" switch for the McIntosh? Could the Jerry/Waldo Line Splitter/Switcher be used to hide the noise of the various gizmos as they're switched on? I think I'd like an amp "Standby" or something.

Any ideas?

Peace
M

My standby is to turn the mac amp to zero during set break. A standby switch on a fender amp really only cuts the plate voltage but still keeps the power section rolling either way from what I understand. Mostly used to warm up tubes before playing. Either way Your Mac is a tank and laughs off a 4 hour gig of constant power.
