Anyone have anything that they use to practice at work?
I sit and watch all these vids when i have a free moment, but by the time i get an actual guitar in my hands all my thoughts are gone. it would be helpful to hide some sort of contraption under my desk like a ruler with elastics or something? I taked to a guy that photocopied his fret board and put it on a piece of wood, but i think i would need to feel strings and frets.

The best progress I ever made was in the parking lot of the Walmart I worked at one summer in college, with an unplugged P-bass, metronome, and a Real Book, every single day while eating lunch.

I keep an ovation acoustic in my office and pick it for a couple of minutes almost everyday.

I am teaching at a high school that has Guitar Club on Fridays... It doesn't get much better. I bring in my loop station and about 10 different kids bring guitars and basses and we just set the whole school on fire. Sometimes another teacher and I make up funny songs and serenade the students. It all makes the school so much more interesting.
