9 gigs in the month of October! I'd say someone is getting very serious about gigging. It must be tough to give up every weekend...but it's got to feel great to be able to get that many bookings. Congrats.

Little heavier than a normal month, but not much.... average 6-8 ...the real challenge comes in making it to my daughters cheerleading games at 8:00 am on a Saturday after getting home at 4:30 am!!! That is when I really start to feel my age and out of shapeness!

I know, it's expensive equipment. All good. Thoroughly enjoy going solely for the music aspect. Always a good thing to keep focused on those priorities of mine. Great time at Toad's; mouthed you a 'thank you' on the way out. Hope you got it. See ya next Friday I hope

I almost always have to politely refuse offers to help too... it's not about the price of the gear, it's just that I have a system, and if I don't follow it exactly, things get lost or disorganized. Especially at the end of the night when you're mentally exhausted, the best thing to do is robotically go through the motions yourself.

right on, Dan! thanks for the input. Pretty sure that's the general opinion out there, along with stuff being expensive...I forgot that's actually what I was previously told because I like helping so much and it clouds my thinking
