Hey friends! Our long time bassist had to move up to Baltimore to help his elderly parents with health issues. He mentioned that he might be looking for some folks to play with. He's still playing a bit with us but Baltimore to Blacksburg is a haul. If anyone needs a bass player to fill in a gig or to play more regularly he's available for at least the next six months. Steve or "Slash" as he's known is a motherf***** of a bass player. He's been playing professionally since the late 60s and was longtime sideman for Bob Margolin (Muddy Water's guitarist) as well as playing with blues greats Otis Rush, Billy Boy Arnold, Pinetop Perkins, Bobby Blue Bland, and Junior Wells among others. He's awesome on the Phil stuff too. If anyone is looking for someone to play bass let me know.

Our bass player is out for about a month for medical reasons. We're in Baltimore. No gigs lined up for the next month, but will be practicing and would love the help. You can PM me his phone number or I can send you mine. BobbyG
