Have never compared side by side, but Andrew from AO Guitars hooked me up with several Canare cables for my OBEL and rack. Very pleased with the quality of the cable, his work, and doing business with him in general. Unless you're going to make them yourself, perhaps check him out.

I had AO in mind, just wasn't sure which cable. Went with Canare. Arrived today, top knotch work.

Nice, looks just like the one I made! I don't think I would make another though, because soldering those right angle stereo jacks is a bitch to say the least.
