Joey is the name, Atlanta the city, Guitar, ive been playing for about ten years but dont practice as amuchas i should so i am really more at like a 2nd or 3rd years playing level. Current fav band.. Furthur! DUH! used to do DMX intelligent light programming for some local bands. PSYCHEDELIC!

I play an Alvarez AJ60SC with a natural finish, an Aria Dreadnought AD-80N, and an Alvarez Classic 2 electric with a Fender Blues Junior 180w tube amp w/ reverb, a cry baby wah and an ernie ball volume pedal... love my gear... dont have much, but it all sounds great

I travel to Atlanta on business with some frequency. I have a high school buddy who lives up there and is surrounded by some outstanding, like minded musicians, not to mention being one himself. I would suggest you check out any and all of the following bands:

i know all of these bands well.... Critter has been a dear friend of mine since i was 15 years old, Donna is an amazing woman.. i love to see her play with Charlie Wooten, unfortunately they don't have a regular thing... but they are good enough friends that they do play together often. We will probably see eachother at a show... if we haven't already. there is a good blog that is put out every night in ATL with the best bands to see on a paticular night.. All these bands reguraly make the list...

Critter is great people. He's a real good player who just loves to play and is really willing to share and teach, and he knows his theory well.

Charlie Wooten is the name I was searching for. Amazing bass player.

John Marsh is the guy I met in high school years and used to jam with.

I always try to hook up with Critter and/or John when I go to Atlanta. We should try to hook up too.
