GCX - tuner out but still hear faint distorted notes?!

Hey, so I'm using my rack system at home for the first time in years and found that when I use the module with my tuner I still hear my guitar albeit faint and distorted.
I set it up so that it comes in from the previous module and no return. Any thoughts??

I know this sounds simple, but did you try taikng the tuner completly out of the picture?

that's not simple, it's brilliant. I tried to run a cable back from the tuner and same results. I guess I figured to wait and see here before doing anything. Honestly, if it's a band channel and that's the only problem it's nuttin' with just the tuner!
