Mesa Baron - anyone ever use one of these for guitar?

I remember when Mesa Boogie started into the audiophile market with this amp - I just saw one on eBay. Has anyone ever used one of these for a guitar power amp? It's a 6L6 amp with 55-150w per channel. Way out of my price range till there's a PhD next to my name but have always wondered how they would work out.
