It's a reference to the "Ticket To New Year's" vHS where, during intermission, people ask questions to the band. I think it's probably a DVD also.

Ahhh! I remeber that. And I do recall the new car comment!
Isn't Ticket to new years the one where Jerry is making his scallops wrapped in bacon with waterchestnut? Jerry put on the even mit and grabbed the hot pan from the oven with the wrong (unprotected) hand.
