bass thru sms classic

Has anyone tried playing a bass threw the sms classic? If so what other gear was involved and how did you like it?

I haven't yet, but Edwin has and I trust his judgement. It should be in the same ballpark as an Alembic F2B as they're both based on the preamp section of a Fender Twin.
