has anybody done this? Can you use the stock speaker + ext cab?

Just wondering cause I was watching this video of Ryan Adams wondering what he was running it through:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRGwaUOpwE8

If you were to not use the stock speaker you could run it through 2x16ohm speakers and not have a mismatch, but if you use the stock speaker (8ohm) plus another 8ohm speaker that means a 4ohm load which is not what the PRRI is listed for.

does fender make an ext for this amp?

I used to run a PR through a 4x12 cabinet in the mid 70s. It sounded fantastic.
