Which volume pedal with my acoustic?

Help! I need a volume pedal for my acoustic as I can't switch the knob fast enough.
But I see 2 types: 250 ohm, 25k ohm
My preamp is the Alvarez Yairi with piezo and I put in the single coil soundhole pickup and I plug in directly to the SBD.
I'm thinking as this is an "active" circuit that I'll need the 25k but figure ask here first

Are you saying you have 2 outputs at once? ie: sound hole and onboard piezo mix? One passive and one active? I would think the 250K is fine, I never put a 25k pot with my buffer and the vol works just fine like it should, You may wanna bring it to GC and test them.

Ahhh, I see the way you are thinking

I don't know if the soundhole magnet is active or not?
Yeah, I wanted to avoid going to GC. They drive me nuts with the know-it-all people who work there. But prolly my best bet.

Have you tried the LR Baggs Para DI. You could send the single to this and have it in front of you and have all the controls say on a stool? Then use a volume pedal for the AY on board pick up. You could also use your Presonus and have a small rack near you to turn knobs.

I see what he is saying, but a single vol control would be much easier I think, and if you are mixing the signals you will have to have a mixing point... If you are using one or the other and not at the same time then the vol pedal will do it straight to the pedal. I assume the add on sound hole pickup is NOT active if it doesn't have a power source. If it does, then it prolly is. Either way, The 250 pot will turn you up and down with a respectable sweep with an active signal, or at least my guitar does just fine. I think the 25k pot is a little broader sweep for a buffered signal, but again mine turns down with slight turns just fine.

HAHA no drinks yet...but is...4 well you know!
I used that setup alot for awhile. Yairi>LR baggs>Vol>Board. I would simply put the LR on a stool in front of me then not fuss with the guitar but I could eq on the fly and then Vol pedal if needed. You are trying to get the Weir double pickup deal right?

Oh and a Rane mixer in the rack with a Pendulum SPS that is how I achieved the mix.

If I don't have the time to reach the control box on the AY no way can I reach a rack. Unless said rack has a pair
