I just watched a tornado cross the huge lake near my house. FKING INTENSE!

Yikes! Keep yourself safe. We had one tear up a town a few miles away. I remember them from living in Texas - cool to watch . . . from a distance.

Yep, as long as you're at a safe distance. My neighbors were freakin out, I grabbed my camera and cold Sierra Nevada.....

Wow! To me, I think tornados are more terrifying than earthquakes. I have a hunch California will be hit with a biggie within a year....

technically, that's a waterspout. That's awesome though. I do a bit of storm chasing in Colorado, this is a good friend of mine who's car got struck by lightning, while he was filming, which, apparently, has never happened before.
