In honer of the stores we use to frequent and always feel good at. It is sad they have all gone away.

" 40 Sad Portraits Of Closed Record Stores: In honor of Record Store Day on Saturday, here's a depressing collection of old record store photos. Don't let the music die, people. Keep the dream alive!.."

that's weird. vinyl is making a big comback mostly due to the dj revival. a bunch of stores here that used to be only cd's have added big vinyl sections and almost all bands release a vinyl version of their newest album while older records are getting re-released on higher grade vinyl (and the lesser grade for us cheapos)

it used to be just me in the vinyl section but now i'm always bumpin elbows with people trying to sort through them

noticing those were Tower Records in Ca and other big cities, there had to be a huge drop in demand. So big that MOST of them fell out, not all. some communities have kept them alive, some have gone under. It is strange to see where there is demand and where there is not. I would thin LA would be a pretty good town still.
