Just when I think you guys can't request anything cooler, I get a commission to make this for a GD inspired bass. I loved working on this one.

Is everything priced on a piece by piece basis or do you have some sort of general range for each piece? like truss rod covers between $50 and $150 depending on deatail and materials used - for example

Yeah, everything is quoted on a number of factors. Size, materials, but mainly complexity. Number of pieces and the size of the pieces. Large pieces are much easier to cut and work with than small pieces. Of course there is also artwork design time, etch work, and in a small number of cases paint work. So as you can see there is a lot to consider when quoting. So I carefully weight all these factors and then pull a number out of my a$%.

I'll keep it for sure - my Ovation Legend was the only guitar I've had that I let go of and I regretted it

I should have said, if it becomes my stage guitar I'll get some inlay work done

I had an old Vox beattle bass with a scoll headstock. I sold it for $150. What I'd give to have that back. I could have turned it into a classical music themed guitar. That would have been awesome.

Oh well ...
