I just bought this and don't think I will have time to play with it before tonights gig can anyone give me a primer on the dial settings for a stranger sound

Plug into the "Guitar" input, come out of the "Output (mono)" output.
There are 4 knobs... From left to right:
1: Fully clockwise
2: Fully clockwise
3: Fully counterclockwise
4: 12 o'clock straight up.

Wasn't jer's octave oc-2 set to OCT1 set to max and OCT2 set to minimum. In OC-2 mode doesn't it replicate the OC-2 pedal?

Yes, Jerry's OC-2 was set OCT1 to max and OCT2 off. The OC-2 is analog.

The OC-3 has OC-2, but the OC-3 pedal is digital, not analog like the OC-2. I had both and kept the OC-2.
