Crate Power Block Backup Ideal but confusing...

I have a crate powerblock amp I have had now a few months, and since then I have used it like a regular amp, plugging my twin pre into it. It is a far cry from a twin preamp or sms into a mac, but I would like to know how to use ONLY the power section of this amp without the cab sims. It has cab simulators on all outputs (I assume?) so the SMS could go straight to the crate to a K12 or the board, i guess. But what I want is to use the power section and bypass the cab sim. does the RCA CD input use the cab sim also? if not I could use this to tap into it. Since a few here have them I would like to hear how you guys hook them up with an SMS or other preamp to avoid the cab sim. Thanks! JB

Would they put speaker sims on Speaker outs?

I recall modeler guys going into the RCAs to bypass the preamp. To my knowledge it does not have cab sims

Cab sim is only on the XLR output.

Use the return on the effects loop.
