don't know about that but there's a cool app called "live music" that streams from the archive very nicely - not what you're asking about but I'm tellin anyway!

I actually found a better one that doesn't have the bug of live music called "live music android"
i lost it when i upgraded to gingerbread, but i got it back. check that one out.
