instead of the wooks!!! haha

So I was thinking the other day that this thread kinda petered out. I would assume then that it´s not gonna happen? I still think it´s an awesome idea and if it´s not gonna happen this summer, we should do some serious planning to try and organize something for next spring/summer so folks could make plans to come out in advance.

There's another thread relating to the organizing and I just wanted to say that as I will be back in the States this Sept., I'd be more than happy to take an active role in participating in the organization. I really think this could be pulled of with 6-8 mos of planning.

Any thoughts, ideas?

NOT gonna happen. It's a very private thing, bro. The musicians are hand-picked by the people who have been running this thing for 15 years. It's not an "open" thing where anyone can come play. Sorry to sound like the Festival Nazi, but that's the way it is.

The people who run it are NOT looking for it to become a HUGE thing.

TJ- I just read Pappy's recap of their fest. Sounded like an amazing time. Can't wait to see the vids and hear the tunes. I have a feeling I will be crashing next year. I like the idea of merging Kindfest into their thing if they are down. Let's keep this idea going...Not Fade Away...

Sorry Pappy, you posted that reply as I was writing the above. Understood. Is the party open to the public or is it just a private thing?

Here's the deal. We can invite whomever we want to invite, but we are personally responsible for rookies' behavior!!! SOOOOOO....if you wanna come next year, let me know as we get closer and we'll talk. I'm sure it'll be all good.
