I love phish's lyrics AND vocalists. actually vocally phish is my favorite. their voices sound cool, and tehy do some interesting things witheveryont doing different things vocally(like the end of bouncing around the room theme from the bottom etc.)

i love their lyrics because theyre interesting and odd and they fit the music perfectly.

man phish could outsing the entire dead except jerry. bob just seems like a good singer cause he always stays inside his range when he tries to sing high it just sounds awful (listen to his off key yelping in any sugar magnolia). trey and page make various attempts to sing out of their respective ranges and deserve respect for trying to improve, even though they never do

I think shakedown would agree that you and saraaqum and anyone who is into phish or wants to learn there stuff should sign up over at the strangedesign forums. Great is you are into Trey and Mike and the boys.

This will never end. One side would say something like "I don't like Phish" and the other saide would say "Why not, they are good" and the other other side would say "I don't see the connection.....they aren't the Dead......the scene is oversaturated......etc, etc."

Its not like after reading this thread people would change their minds and start buying/downloading Phish's music, or all the Phish fans would suddenly hate the music they've been listening to for years and sell it all on eBay......

....Hmmm, interesting, one side would sell all their Phish albums and the other side would buy them all.....I guess thats how economy works.....

first off, i like both phish and the dead, but i get into the dead more because i can relate to their music easier. thats all i wish to say on that subject.
