I agree that he sounds very much direct however ya never know what his IEM feed is or what ever there messin with in that studio. Could be simple as a "backup" should something go wrong or even maybe there doing some post gig A/B comparisons of tones. Id love to check out TRI, I think its a cool concept.

We probably wont know how he runs his rig until he tells us!
