Sounds awesome! Another rarity?
Right now I'm thinking I should stick to the advice of jdsmodulus, and hold out & save... The right guitar will make it to me eventually!
I'm thinking neck-thru-body, straight wood grain finish & plenty of room for modding!

Strummin checked out my musicians (400 and 500)and artists as well as my 2622s and I think the consensus was the the ar500, the mc500 with master tone, and st300.
I felt the st300 nailed the it more so than any of the others.
Granted no effects, straight to a SF twin.
The cost of the st300 is much lower than the musicians or artists

Here's my current set-up. Also using a pedal board with a compressor, phaser and chorus.

Alcor is right - ST-300 is the real deal for a great fit and feel of classic Ibanez but a fraction of the cost and weight.
I had the pleasure of jamming on his and it is outstanding! He advised the stock pickups are a bit harsh so you may need to swap.
