I was listening to Hendrix the other day, and was thinking of some of the stuff off Axis like Spanish Castle Magic or Castles Made of Sand. Also some of the posthumous stuff, like Back from the Storm, Ezy Ryder, or Peace in Mississippi.

Check out the
Spanish Castle Magic
From The Live at the Winterland album.
If ya into that tune - ya gotta check it out.
Jimi's guitar sounds sweet the whole night.
He rips the tune up.

Seems like many Dire Straits songs could be stretched for some jammin'. As cheesy as Romeo and Juliet is Im surprised Bobby never tackled it, but it would've been interesting.

Actually I did too! I think that song comes on in the beginning with the overhead shot of the Family Truckster exiting into Chicago, but of course I could be wrong.

Yup its in the intro. I believe they used it for the ending credits as well. That whole movie had a great soundtrack.

I think someone already mentioned the first song, but Sweet Jane (VU)>Yea! Heavy and a Bottle of Bread (Dylan/Band) can be pretty sweet at times.
