BETTER OFF DEAD played to a great house @ The Lion's Lair (The Red Lion's bigger room)in High Point, NC Saturday night. Dye Nation was there with their incredible Tie Dye cloths etc and the festival vibe was definitly there that night. Played 3 sets to keep everyone dancing from 10:00 to 2:00, a long but extremely enjoyable night. I think this is how we eventually played the list (it tends to change from minute to minute sometimes)

nice pappy! doin part of the abbey road suite live is genious. just wish you had gotten in my favorite part of the suite, Carry that Weight.

Maybe one day, when we get a vocalist who can "carry Golden Slumbers" we'll squeeze that in!!! I love the entire album, start to finish.

A GRATE night last night. Opening act was a really good 5 piece Bluegrass band and we finished off the night with 3 hours of good ol'e Grateful Dead.

That was one long sequence!! Really underscored for me how amazingly resilient The Boys were, physically! I need to eat more red meat...

Yeah dude, more protein!

Reminds me of how they only ate steaks and drank milk while living with Bear. Now that's what I call extreme!

Man, times have changed. I went to UNC-W and was only one of 3 deadheads on campus. We had a dead cover band play once or twice and while we had fun, it wasn't too well received. Glad to hear Wilmy-wood is growing with the good tunes and vibes!
