Could not give a flyin' fuck over this news. I'm w/ hesgone and nashville mike on this one. Far as I'm concerned just one less sick fuck walking the earth. I guess when Charles Manson dies there will be people waxing nostalgic for what a genius he was.

Wow, it's gettin' more self-righteous and judgemental in here than a Christain fundamentalist meeting. Let it go, the dude is dead.

I have to agree. No matter how much success you have in business or in making money how we treat those closest to us everyday is the best measure of greatness. Any grown man who admits to sharing his bed with young boys (or girls for that matter) is a travesty...no matter how many records you sell or how much money you have. I despise the way our society worships fame and money over character and intergrity.

That far outweighs any silly pop songs the guy may have sung and danced to IMO. I'm sorry the guy had a shitty childhood, (many of us did) but there is no justification for the wacko things he did and I just feel they should not be forgotten or overshadowed because he sold a lot of records.

Just my $0.02, FWIW
^^ These ^^

His natural death should be considered a blessing to MJ. Dude is lucky some kid's father didn't come after him or some kid he traumatized who is now an adult.

Jerry was only a captain (trips) not a king (of pop)

Let's not forget. Michael was the one that arrogantly dubbed himself the king of pop. Naming his kids Prince Michael the First and second. Give me a fucking break. If I hear one more celebrity describe Michael as being humble I'm going to puke. I realize this statement is going about 180 degrees from my previous statement but that's the way life is sometimes. Humble people don't have statues and paintings of people adoring himself made.

I've said this a few times to my friends & fam... Why is everyone speaking so kindly about him? At best he was a deranged man inflicting his mental illness on children and at worst a pedophile. WTF people?! Being dead doesn't make him a good person!

MJ was clearly an extremely talented entertainer, although I didn't care much for his music myself. But like others said, no matter how traumatic his experience was, there really is no excuse for sexually preying on children. Even though I am sure I am not making any points for myself with any higher powers, I was not sorry to hear that he had died.

Farrah, on the other hand, was only guilty of being ditzy (probably not her fault), and being drunk/stoned/drugged for one TV appearance that no one seems to want to let go. Personally, I hope I am never judged on my worst day at work, and I think most others would feel the same way. So, I was sorry to hear that she had passed, and that she apparently had as painful an ending as my Father did, who died of the same disease. Godspeed Farrah, thanks for the good times!

Here, here, Strummin, I'm with you all the way on this one. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

The thing about Micael Jackson is his big fans don't really think he did those things. They think he was set up or blackmailed. I know, my sister is one of them.
