Every time I see that picture of TJ and his wife, I keep thinking that Pig Pen's ghost is in the lower right corner of the right mirror.

Speaking of rabbits, with Easter coming up, will you mate your bunny with a chicken? I would. I'll bet it'd birth chocolate eggs for all of us to enjoy!

Are you or your wife allergic to cats? Is the rabbit dander similar?

no cat allergies .....havent noticed any rabbit allergies but his hay gets to me ...

My wife and I are allergic to cats. The meat makes us break out in hives followed by projectile vomiting.

BEER ROASTED CAT
1 cat cut into roast
1 can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup
1 cube of beef bouillon
1 clove of garlic
1 Fine Irish Stout, a lot like a popular dark Irish Beer®, but NOT that brand at their lawyers' request. They alledge this article, educating others in the legal eating habits of over 100 million people world-wide, and specifically in rising East Asian markets, is "highly offensive."

Cover and soak cat roast in salt water for 24 hours. Drain water and then cover and soak in beer for 6 hours. Drain and place in crock pot with your cans of soup. Add a clove of garlic, and a cube of beef bouillon. If you start to slow cook your cat in the morning with your George Foreman Cooker (or it's ilk), you'll have finely cooked feline in time for supper.

If a slow cooker is not available, a cat can be baked at 350 degrees for 2-3 hours in a conventional oven and still come out pretty good. Beer Roasted Cat is fantastic served with mashed potatoes, collard greens, and fresh, homemade egg rolls. When planning a full meal just remember- cat is a course best served hot!

Cat may not be the most glamorous, or tastiest of game meats, but with a little thought and preparation, Baked Cat can make the belly of the persnicketiest diner glow with home baked goodness.


(I apologize in advance to those who are offended....FWIW, I found this among several sites on google in ten seconds. This was by far the least offensive thing I saw...there's real some sickos out there).

We've had 3 rabbits - all rescue jobs of one sort or another. We had Alexei (wife was a big Alex Kovalev fan) thumper and jack - I know, real original. Jack was a big bugger and I do believe an actual Jack-Rabbit. Didn't have him for long as we moved him to a Farm Sanctuary upstate IIRC. Thumper and Alexei we had till they passed. Thumper could be pretty nasty and spent a good amount of his time in his cage. Alexei was very cool and had the run of the apartment. Had to watch what he'd attempt to chew on - almost had fried rabbit once or twice.
I pretty much think you shouldn't have rabbbits as pets unless you have an outside pen/enclosure where they can safely get some outside time and excercise unless they have the run of your living area from time to time. To have them and keep them in a cage 24-7 is kinda weird imho, though this take may not be for everyone.

I am a a chef and after all this I have to say I am inspired to serve rabbit at my restaurant on Easter Sunday.

I haven't decided but am leaning heavily toward a Chocolate Mole sauce and use small chocolate eggs as the garnish...
Inspiration moved me brightly...

also when it come to eating cats I have 2 stories both true...
I grew up hunting every weekend of deer season on my dads friend ranch in the Sierra foothills. My dads friend had friends who ran a couple of Chinese restaurants in Chinatown San Francisco....what ever and I mean whatever we shot or caught fishing would get cooked for dinner...we had frogs, various fish, deer, goat,rattlesnake and one day someone shot a bobcat and that was dinner...It tasted like rabbit... I was the camp boy and my experiences with these chinese chefs was amazing ...they taught me so much about food and different ways of cooking things including hearts, liver, brains etc...when some one shot a buck they took the private parts home and used them as an aprodisiac for the family patriarch... I can't make this up.....
Also when I lived in Paris going to cooking school there were various kinds of shops for differnt meats...at the game places there would be pheasant and ducks hanging and skinned rabbits...the rabbits had to have their feet left on by law to distinguish them from cats.....I guess there were unscroupulous people who would try to sell cat as rabbit....rabbit is truly good eating and is a delicasy....I just wouldn't eat your pet
