Agreed That's one of the reasons I love Neil Young,Bob Dylan as well as some Garcia/Hunter Grateful Dead tunes because they are simple yet stunningly beautiful and poetic. Even a novice like me can play them fairly well

don't know how much i'm working on 'em since i only get about 10-20 min./day to play my guit, but I started playing these tunes last week:
Whiskey in the Jar - irish traditional (GD covered)
Mrs. Robinson - Paul Simon
still trying to play Sugar Mag all the way through without notes.
