I love that album Man and his Horn.Been a couple of years since I heard it.Came out like 79 or something?Maybe his last album?
Got some funk type shit on it.His "Crack" years.
Anyway Crack/smoking Coke was a big thing for the guy,unfortunately.

A little off the subject, but the latest Rolling Stone has an extensive article on Ornette Coleman and talks a bit about his relationship with the GD. It has a quote from Bob on How much Jerry admired Coleman because he was taking the music in new directions.
