My favorite time to smoke pot is during those anti-pot smoking commercials. Especially the one that i don't think is on too much anymore, but the little kid is left at baseball practice because his older brother was too high to remember to pick him up. or the ones when there is a loaded gun involved thats always fun, and then the talking dog who says to the teenage girl, "i really wish you would smoke pot, you're not the same." its always fun during those commercials, and Jeopardy, of course.

Drunk people are gross and sloppy, unless you're drunk too... then it's all good. But people really need to learn how to drink moderately. America's too prudish about parents giving alcohol to their kids, it teaches people how to drink in moderation so that when they go though high school and college they don't wind up needing their stomach pumped.

Fox News... I have one of those fancy televisions... It has a knob that will change the channel. And get this.. There is another knob that will actually turn the sucker off. Make a choice folks, and let me make mine.

I have found my ideals have changed from the time I was a "Pup". If my 15 year old pulled some of the stunts I did at the same age.... Who knows....

I am a love child of the 60's, it was great while growing up, my hippie dad would take me GD shows, my mom would get pissed at him for exposing me things a youngster should not be exposed. I had a great time and it was a great childhood.
Flip side......
Because of the lack of control and my parents wanting me to have a "Free spirit" It only took me 7 years to get my degree. I had no clue how reality in life really works and I wasted alot of precious time well... being wasted.
What made the flip.... My dear (and only) wife of 20+ years, then the birth of my own children 3 boys. one will NEVER know of a love like the love a parent has for their children.

And guess what... This Bozo is clean, I have a cocktail now and again, I have a great job that keeps groceries on the table, roof over the head, college money in the bank and yours truely in guitars, amps and shiney blinky pedals that make fun noises.

though the voting is still continuing until the super bowl weekend, virginia's seems to be a front runner.. it aired during the orange bowl the other night during local feed spots..
perhaps the funnies airings are during Springer.. putting "us" on Springer has been a constant threat what with a lifetime of hippy flow through our lives.. and when we saw the spot run on new years eve , with her voice and our son and his girlfriend as the actors, we realized she finally had gotten on Springer without making us look bad!
thanks for all the votes.. it seems to be the spot most often played.. apparently if it wins the superbowl slot it gets played till school is out and gets a shot at being picked up by the ad council..
and any time anyone wants to vote still, it is at www.fox35.com clicking on lights, camera take action in black.. after you vote there seems to be a survery you can ignore.. ( it asks what transport you use to get to school!! ) and the vote is tallied..

What a Super Bowl, the Heartbreakers, a miracle ending.. and enough punches thrown by the Giants in the last 5 mins to qualify as a hate crime..,
BUT, Virginia's did not win the voitng, alas. Another student from her high school won with the, also, very good, "Think," which features shots through beer bottles and other really nice shots
Either way,Thanks to all who viewed them and/or voted!
It has been a real gas for her the whole time.. her spot aired about 50 times, including the Orange Bowl, the idol premier and, my fav, the Christmas Simpsons..
it even aired for New Years Eve Springer, which we can now thank her for getting herself and brother ( one of the actors) on Springer without making us look bad!
anyway, as you might recall, all four finalists got a dell dimension laptop and 80g ipod, and lots of exposure, which itself is winning and that's just great by us..
