Pro musician? What makes a musician pro?

He's a musician.

I play guitar. I'm a musician. My uncle Joe accidentally bumped my keyboards the other day and emitted a chord that didnt quite sound right. he's a musician. if you don't like their music, it doesnt mean their still in the bush leagues.

uh oh.. i did NOT see a ganz - hunter comparison

d gans is an alright musician though i much prefer his writing than his singing. i can respect what he is doing to continue spreading the music that we all love. his performances on stage with these songs are an extension of the love he has for the music of the dead, traditional folk, and jam music. there is no reason to bash him, you can say he's not as talented as jerry or bill nerschi or something but thats not reason to bash him for performing. he's doing his thing and i would go to see him if it happened to be convenient.

heres a nice clip i found on youtube a few weeks ago of gans jamming with a dude on some kind of traditional instrument that is somewhere between a sitar and mandolin. enjoy :D
