Tom, I was looking for something to make it not look like I'm browsing on-line while at work. Most people don't understand that my job goes in cycles of insanity and nothing and in between I need mental breaks. That's all.

I know phpbb has plug ins for almost everything and figured a "plain text" plugin may have been available

Moe does not suck. Al does not suck. Trey does not suck. dave matthews does not suck...

Go turn on MTV. 90% of that sucks AND it is being crammed down kids throats. Why not save the bashing for the multi-millionaires that have LESS musical talent than many on this forum?

Not what I said.... But regarding his guitar playing I've bever heard anything impressive. In fact, in my exposure to him I hadn't heard anything I wasn't able to do shortly after I started playing.

Now mind you, it may have been isolated to what I heard.

Plus he is so low in his band's mix.

Plus his voice is all annoying.

He looks like a chicken clucking and flapping it's wings while he 'dances'.

Plus in college (14 yrs back) so many people worshiped him and felt DMB=jamband and they had some insight into my scene. How wrong they were.

DM=pop rock
B=awesome musicians

My guess is that this is the #1 reason why a lot of people in the jamband scene hate Dave - little to do with musicianship...

I saw Dave play solo last year at Warren Haynes Xmas Jam in Asheville. It was funny watching the kids that were really only there to see Dave have to wait about 8 hours for him to come on. A lot of frusturated frat guys...

I don't like him cuz he sucks. Having how great he is pushed in my face just sealed the deal.

I never liked DMB and never will. That I am sure of. Dont like Moe either.
