We need one more for the rukind FFL! C'mon, there's gotta be somebody here who wants in!

It was a blast last year and (as far as I know) everyone held up their end of the bargain and shipped gifts to all the other members.

I think we should do that again this year, it really made it fun. I remember I got the 10/31/80 dvd from jck_strw, which was pretty sweet!

Alright I am going to "publish the league" now. Which means that any joe blow trying to sign up to draft tonight can sign up for our league without knowing the league name and password. Sorry but I would rather do this then play with a dummy team. Remember it starts at 8pm EASTERN STANDARD TIME. WE are all on different clocks so keep that in mind.

I tried to join up but it did not happen. I guess you have 12. What a hassle.

I do not know if this is much of a prize but I have a bootleg dvd of the coppenhagen show from 72. I think it is the whole first set. Has them playing in clown masks on a big railroad blues. I also have a bootleg 76 show that I could make copies of and mail for free to the winner. I Don't have the money to really get anything super cool.

Well you don't need money for anything super cool, that's a great gift! I have the Coppenhagen one (I think jck_strw gave it to me if I'm not mistaken!), but that '76 show sounds sweet. What's the date?

The idea is just to get something small that is from YOU, nothing extravagant. Last year, I remember I gave a 6-pack of some local Maine brew. Another person made a home-made tye-dye and gave that away. Another made a copy of the Radio City dvd. I think someone made a copy of a bootleg show. All great gifts. It's more to share with our fellow deadheads than anything else; good commraderie.

We should do it like last year, where everyone puts in a gift, and the winner gets first choice, 2nd place 2nd choice, and so on, so everyone gets a gift for playing. I think it's a super cool idea.

So this year, I'll offer 2 Maine lobsters (if you like them, if not, Maine beer!) as my gift. Actually, check that...I gotta see how much it costs to send lobsters, that may be breaking the bank. But if not, that's my gift.

Really looking forward to another fun season! Last year was probably the first time I've been in a league where there wasn't any fighting/bitching/moaning/etc. and it was very refreshing. Guess it speaks to the type of people we all are!

Could you get some thunderhole ale. Last time I was up in maine I pretty much lived off of that stuff. I think I got it in bar harbor. Love the name and love the flavor!

Well, I'm actually headed to Bar Harbor on the 10th for my honeymoon, so I can check around! Hope it lasts the season in my fridge.....that's a tall order right there!

Don't try to hard. I am going up there this summer anyway. Maine is by far the best place to be in the summer time. Beautiful man, and I can't get down with these southern heat indexes. I go up to bangor/ orono area every summer starting two years ago. My wife has faimly up there. Great vacation spot.

Also your draft order should be up in the next 10 minutes or so. This is done randomly and I have nothing to do with it. Thought I would say that before I even know where I am in the draft.

Hey what happened?! I thought the draft was after this weekend. I got home and found a bunch of league change emails, one of which was a change of the draft time. Fucking bummer.

Since july 7th the draft time has been today per earlier posts on this thread. The rule changes where agreed upon in the online draft room right before the draft. If you have some serious problems with your tight end you can just have one of mine for your crappiest player. I want everyone to have fun and it sucks when you miss the draft. But Hey you got LT! I've realised that I am a pretty sucky commish. and probably am not the best for heading this up next year.

Jim, that sucks...we were all wondering where you were. I'll help if I can....

And hey August - when are you gonna be up here? Maybe we can jam or something one night, or if nothing else, grab a beer w/ our wives or somethin...

I'm in Stockton Springs, about a half hour south of Bangor, 5 days a week for work, right on the ocean - it's a gorgeous spot. The other 2 days (tuesday & wednesday) I'm in Portland. Hit me up w/ an email ([email protected]) or something when you know.

Sounds good. I am not coming up until next july. Sorry I forgot when I said I am coming up next summer that could have meant next week. Don't know the date yet but it is usually the end of month for two weeks. Definitly time to grab a beer or jam. I usually bring my acoustic with me, and my wife has a hell of a voice. It's a ways a way but I will keep the offer in mind.
