Hands down one of my favorite guitars. Looks great can't wait to see it all finished. How much longer are you thinking?

It was tough for me to decide on what to do for pickups in this guitar. I'm doing a replica of Weir's 87 Blackknife, should I do the traditional Bartolini's or break the mold? I had to think to myself what do I like? After doing the Cowboy experiment with a Strat and following immediately in love with it. I've decided to do it my way.

The pickups and bridge are already routed the rest is photoshopped but this is the game plan.
The pickups in the photo are not the ones that are going in the guitar. They were used for the template.

I'll be coming to NH when it's done!

You'll have to bring your guitar with you. It'd be interesting how they stack up against each other.

Finally! The vintage Ibanez EQ system for the new guitar project. Holy crap that's a lot of parts!

Nice! Looks a lot like a bass preamp. Onboard EQs are highly underrated in the guitar world IMHO.
