Good eye, ebick.... no PITB?!?! I just don't get why everyone would be so excited to check out some random head's entire list of "the Best of"... nobody ever gets that excited about my picks...! :-?

but my 2 cents anyway:
Lost Sailor: 10/10/82
Saint: 10/10/82
Greatest: 8/27/72 maybe.
Mountains of the Moon: 2/27/69
Doin' That Rag: 2/21/69
BTW: I dunno- 4/29/72 or 8/24/72.
Playin' In The Band: 9/21/73 or 12/2/73
Dancin' In The Streets: 6/8/69
Candyman: 4/15/70

TS - What's your pick for best Hard to Handle?

I've got a GD VHS called "Backstage Pass" simple 5 song thing but with a killer smokin' hot HTH but I can't figure out what show.

Figure you may know since you seem to have a strong liking to many of the same eras I do!

I don't know, man, the HTH from Fallout From The PhilZone is pretty freakin' hot.

The 4-27-71 HTH is tops in my book. I think that's the one from Fallout..., but I don't have that album, so I'm not sure.

A quick google revealed:

>> Anyone know the dates of the videos on the Backstage Pass video?

In the "Hard to Handle" segement, the film is apparently from 2/4/70, but
the music is from 4/29/70.

better make that 4/29/71 ... West Coast imagery and East Coast jams

I dunno which one I like the best... 4/26,27 or 29.

Mountains of the Moon: 2/27/69
Is that the acoustic that goes into DS? If so, I heartily agree. And also with ebick about the HTH from Fallout. OMFG!!! That is what that song was meant to be. IMHO.

Yes, that's the one glaring omission from Live Dead... one of the most blissful sections of music ever, and the album mix fades IN as it winds down.[/i]

Wonderfully restored in the Fillmore West 1969 Box Set. One of the highlights of that set for me.
