They played a crap game vs a good team, and they were due for it. There is a reason why the Vikings destroyed pretty much all but one opponent at home this year. They went 9-0 there including yesterday's beat down of the good guys. Dallas had been too hot for a few weeks not to have a let down. Not an excuse, but I kind of saw it coming. Once Flozell went down I knew it wasn;t going to turn out too well.

Should be a great game in N'awleans next week.
True, true Crazy 9.5 - I think the very next play after Flozell went down Romo was sacked from that side. The Cowboys got beat by the better team plain and simple. I went to a game in that stadium - it's a tough, tough field for the visitor - though better than old outdoor stadium - went to a game there once too - brrrrr. They'll have a tough game this week - should be a great game.

crazy finish - I thought the Vikings had it in the bag, then Favre throws that int. bummer for Minn fans. The Ain'ts in the Superbowl v the Dolts. It could be a great Superbowl.

I never once thought they had it in the bag. Not after the last time the Vikings were in the NFC championship and needed a field goal to beat the Falcons right at the end of a shootout game. It was a short attempt and the kicker had set an NFL record by having a perfect season, 35 for 35.

Of course he missed it, sending the game into overtime where the Falcons won it without the Vikings ever getting the ball back. Sound familiar at all? :? :? :?

Pains me as a Dallas fan to see Favre do what he did. Maybe Romo should have picked a different qb to emulate.

Vikes blew that game plain and simple. Put the ball on the ground far too many times, Favre never should have been put in that position. And it proves that Childress is not a very good HC that he manages to get 12 guys in the huddle in the most critical moment of your season.

That penalty possibly killed their season. Considering the smack he talked after they beat Dallas, I am glad. Suggit.

I've never respected Childress either.

errrrr....the last time the Vikes were in the NFC Championship game was against the Giants in 2000. I think the Giants eeked that one out.

Oh! I guess I blocked that one out. I meant the one against the Falcons, one or two years earlier.
