Nice, man, good luck with getting a ticket. Not sure what I'm doing beforehand but if you end up with a ticket and are up for a pint, let me know

I'd like to be under the sea

In an octopus' garden in the shade

He'd let us in, knows where we've been

In his octopus' garden in the shade

quite possibly the funniest thing i'll read today. i think Detroit's defensive play (goalie not included) is what is keeping this shut out going. pathetic amount of shots by the Pens, it's painful to watch. hopefully they step it up now that they'll be playing at home. as far as osgood's play, hell, i'd be willing to bet a college goalie could do the same (not taking away from osgood, merely stating he has had hardly anything to save). buuuut, osgood is good for a dive here and there, that we've seen a few times so far...

It was getting quiet in here. seems like crosby's whining is infectious, now he's got the coach and fans in it. I am not taking anything away from the Pens, but I expect that any hockey team with any amount of self respect or dignity could put the puck in the net at least, say ONCE in 120 minutes of hockey. Especially with Osgood in net.

I took this shot of the "future" of the NHL at game 1:

That being said, I expect the "future" of the nhl to actually play like they are in the NHL for the next two games.

PS - thanks to the Pens for letting the wings set the NHL record for the most consecutive goals without the other team scoring (and counting)

And, to be the for the fourth team in NHL HISTORY to start the finals with a two shutout performance.

Agreed. It's terrible. Malkin's line with no shots last game, what the hell?! Pens looked so solid end of the season and the games leading up to the cup, so I'm astonished to see what I'm seeing. Yeah, Osgood is in net, there is no excuse to not score!

I never judge an outcome until I see Detroit play in another arena. I think home ice makes a huge difference on a team. That being said, I like it when Babcock says the team will be playing better tonight.

osgoods on fire, but the defense is even hotter!

plus the penguins are letting in some shitty goals. hasnt been as good a series as i had hoped for so far

what's killing me is that Fleury is making the tough saves, but nearly every goal he has let in has been soft.

still gonna have to disagree with Osgood being on fire. he's done nothing spectacular, almost always out of position following a save but the Wings are in front to pick it up. I used to like Osgood, but after his jab/dive against Dallas and the dives witnessed so far, I can't say I'm too fond of the guy.

Hopefully the Pens will have a bit more success on home ice (maybe Detroit won't be used to such a terrible playing surface!)

finally a game worth watching! (though i doubt you Detroit fans had a problem with the domination in the first two games)

i would have liked the first two game to have been like this one, even if the Pens had lost. it was much more exciting.

Crosby had a good game, yeah?

hopefully the Pens can even it out before heading back to Detroit
