Many thanks on your input. I've read mixed reviews of the TwangBanger but, like you, I'd absolutely love to have a Tele tone a click away. I'm gonna try and decide on what pickup changes need to be made and then attempt to figure out how to do it on that guitar. I've never done the swap myself before but I'd rather not have to pay for someone else to do it when I could figure it out myself. I saw a pickup change instructional video on Seymour Duncan's website - with a Strat of course - but I think that enough was covered for me to attempt it myself.

By the way, do you have any audio clips of your Modulus post-pickup exchange??

Hmm, I see that. I find most folks don't take the time to really experiment with their pickup hieghts and how it relates to tone, attack, etc...

You could always through a regular Tele in the bridge. :-)

It's not hard to do a Mody since it is single tone and volume. One thing different is that now you have humbuckers. Strat style will be single coil so you'll need the RW in the middle position. I know some folks don't but that's what is recommended and I never have understood the pro's and con's...

We have videos up but it'll be some searching for what you can hear best and when:

If you really like the way mine sound I can put you in touch with the folks who hooked me up!
