my daughter LOVES Justin Bieber and you know what, I dont mind him as much as the Disney manufactured stars such as Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato.
Justin actually has musical ability, so to the poster above who said he should take time to learn an instrument, you are not correct. He is a more than decent drummer for his age and also plays piano and guitar. He is proficient at more instruments than I am and probably a lot of people who bash him.
He was discovered a couple years ago on you-tube actually playing instruments and singing songs on homemade self produced videos. Not studio auto tuner tricks or anything like that at the beginning. ((I am sure now he gets full advantage of studio technology)...I give him a ton of credit for that.
Also, I think it is great that he would even want to pose with Trey and Bob. I would venture to say most teen stars (and teens in general) these days dont know who either of those guys are and if they did they would say ..."eeew get the old man away from me"
I have heard "baby, baby, baby....ohh...." so many damn times this year I want to poke my ear drum with a shish kebab skewer, but that is a comment on my musical taste and not a comment or a reason to bash Justin.

I've nothing against Beiber, not my thing but as a guy in my late 30's it shouldn't be. THe original post was more of a whoa, surreal moment observation. I was kinda bummed about the clip of him getting drilled w/ a water bottle. He's a kid. A kid making hella cheddar but still a kid.

the best post ever.
Hey is there work for Mark Twain impersonators? I might have to look into that!
Here I come Vegas baby!!
FWIW,
I dont dig the Beiber music style but yea I got respect for him doing a pic with Weir. And I do have some advice for the kid.
Ya know all the dancers and other extras on stage with ya, Fire 'em keep the profits for ye self.
I have seen him on TV looks like a bad New Kids reunion. I dunno?
Do some solo acoustic stuff widen your base.

This thread is reinforcing an idea i had for lyrics... so far just the theme.... but basically it is that there is no counter culture left, because there is no culture to counter. Damn i am crotchety for only being 37.
