Lazy River Road has always been a favorite GD tune to play solo acoustic for kids, old folks, weddings... Run For The Roses is another.

Those are a few intriguing songs that I'd play for some kids. By the way I haven't heard one objection while singing "The Wind" very smooth song with a fun finger-picking pattern.

i'd go for the storytelling type songs that are fun to sing along with. operator would be a fun one i bet.

my youngest really likes all the wiggles songs i learned for her. believe me, they are a little dorky but alot of their tunes are really fun to play there's only a few available on the net, but i figure them out on my own. the thing that gets kids is the music and movement integration, which is what the wiggles do. good stuff for aspiring young groovers.
