Just for the record, neither the G-Men nor the Eagles are going anywhere past the first round of the playoffs, if that.

well, the lions may have lost, BUT Detroit's Devil's Night house arson was down 12%, so I am calling it a win for the city of Detroit...

Count me in the Minnesota club - born in St. Paul, moved to the east coast in 1999. I have my Vikings hat and a big grin on today!

And they are NOT afraid of the Eagles, that is for sure! Or Saints for that matter. Jared Allen will put all your quarterbacks on their backs.

Blah blah blah last year. Last year MN didn't have Jared Allen or Percy Harvin not to mention ol' #4 who is surprisingly not a pick machine this year. Although Asante Samuel is certainly somebody to be feared.

Will the old man make it through the year? Hard to say. At the beginning of the year I'd have said no way, but 1. he skipped training camp, saving wear and tear on his body, and 2. MN is a dome team, surely saving more wear and tear on the old ligaments. Eh.. maybe I'm talking myself into it, but the pieces are in place for him to not crumble like he did in 2008.

:D :D

Thanks a lot for Childress, by the way. Are you sure you wouldn't like him back? You can have him, cheap. Beard, glasses, and all! A real bargain!
