Superbad and Grandma's Boy are probably some of the funnier movie's I had seen in a while when they were released, Pineapple Express was alright as well but not at the top of my "stoner movies list"

IMO, Super Troopers was the greatest drug-comedy movie created. Blow/Scarface the best drug-story movies.

One of my favorite movies/dark comedies ever is "Fargo", and most of those peple are repulsive (except Fracis Mcdormand's character).

I think that superbad would have been WAY funnier if they didn't put the whole "McLovin" in the commercials.

this thread rules!

I loved superbad and thought pinapple was just ok. A good rental but I am glad I didnt see it in the theatre.

I heard an interview on howard stern with seth rogan about how disgusting it was for him making the movie because of all the fake weed he had to smoke. He said it tasted horrible and was making him sick.

WTF? Are you gonna cry and not be my friend because I didn't love your precious Pineapple Express?

Who are you to decided what qualifies as a comedy? And who are you to say what I enjoy or do not enjoy.
I'm certainly not going to cry about anything, dick. I'll tell you what you like and don't like. Now shut up and watch the movie again.

This is really a post just to break 1000 hahah. But anyways Pineapple express was ok the first time and better the second time actually. Pretty good but yeah no where near top 10 or even like top 250 lol. And you guys forgot the best drug movie out there. Fear and loathing in las vegas!!! Come on now! Second best is Blow then Super Troopers (even though its not a drug movie but if you wanna classify it as that so be it). In that case lets throw Pulp Fiction in the mix too. And Scarface. Oh and Dazed and Confused! Aight im done now lol. 1000! :peas:

Nice job on the 1,000th post! Ok, so you are slightly off, imho. See, there are two genre's hear, stoner comedies and drug movies. Fear and Loathing, Blow, Jesus's Son (one of my faves), Pulp Fiction, et. al, are drug movies, but Stoner comedies like Grandma's Boy, Half-Baked, PE, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, etc are the real deal. Then there's the one's that have some stoners in them, like Spicoli, that include The Big Lebowski, Dazed and Confused, American Beauty, Kevin Smith's movies, etc. They are great, but deserve their own category. Wow, I've over-thought this. Must be high...

Fear and Loathing is a good flick, but how about Where the Buffalo Roam....

And of course... I Love You, Alice B. Toklas

Then there is The Yellow Submarine...

too many jokes in stoner movies use easy stereotypes aimed at non-tokers. pineapple express contains a lot of this, i wasnt particularly impressed. probably my least favorite Seth Rogan movie.

Tropic Thunder was last summers best comedy, far better.
