Sack!!!! Thanks for the appreciative words bro!!!
That is so awesome how things work out some times...

***************DO NOT SELL THAT AMP***************

Personally, knowing the gear you have I'd ask you this very serious question - are you getting all the tone you can from just the guitar into your amp. You have high quality gear that should be able to give you TONS of tone!!!

Seriously, with that amp and guitar you need high quality pedals so the tone of the amp still can shine through!

It took me a long time to get tone and response out of amps like I can out of my acoustics but now I can get all that and more!

BTW, I think I may have a strat the same color as you...

The word for the tone on the amp i like is 'mellow' and very clean. With being new with this electric stuff, playing with the effects was fun. i do a bunch of reggae stuff with one guy and i can't get that delay bit.
Strummin, your guitar is a beauty and a darker shade of blue than mine. Mine seems to have more of a greenish tint almost but i'm not sure how they call it Carrabean Blue. It's not what i would think of if thinking of island blue. i have a black Japanese Strat. that i also inherited ( it's nuts, I have 3 electrics and i didn't pay for any including one acoustic ). i actually like the feel on the neck of the Japanese Strat. more.

MIJ Strats rock! Excellent quality. My main axe is a (now heavily modded) Antique White (more like banana yellow) 72 Reissue, made in 1987.

Yup, the one above is MIJ.

Got it from my uncle before he passed.

Mine is actually alot brighter in real life.

That pic was taken on my workbench w/o a flash.

(poor basement lighting for photography in that section)

If you look between the jack & knobs that is the color.
