Acoustic too.
The 30 second mark hes playing just as fast as BucketBrains fingerstyle....
That Buckethead clip was tremendous.
I gotta check him out.
Chet Atkins is a freak o nature though.
Just because he takes it slow sometimes doesnt mean he cant "Shred"
I think they call it melody ...

that reminds me of paco de lucia

one of my favorite acoustic performances right here:

on the booklet notes of the "Friday Night in San Frnacisco" Live Album, it says in 1978 guitar player magazine called Paco the "most advanced guitarist in any idiom"

Some really good picks mentioned so far! I saw Stanley Jordan play at my college, UNC-W, for $2 back in the late '80's and got to go to party in his room afterwards. He is amazing. Saw Michael Hedges at Oregon Country Fair playing nekkid in the sauna! Outrageous! As far as freaks of nature, I was always impressed by Jose:

ok, watching Jose Feliciano from the other link posted, i saw this link for him doing Billie Jean. look at the man's face, i'm not sure if he's having a premonition of what micheal jackosn would become in the next twenty years or if he's just in awe of himself.

Ahem...correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Feliciano
blind? I'd imagine that face comes from not being able to SEE.....!!!
