a little tricky for me in the intro. I have slowed it down and I think I can play it better finger pickin than with a pick. I dunno maybe time to move on to something else. but I love this song

I believe Pentangle and the Dead were both on Warner Bros. at one time, I remember having a sampler album with both bands represented.

Now that I think about it, we aren't "working" on anything new. I need to crack the whip and insist on some new stuff real soon....
We just rehersed last night and reviewed Cats, Estimated, Terrapin and Viola lee (in and out of Don't think twice and All Over Now) among others for sat night's gig. Should be a good one.

I've mostly been playing with myself lately. Kind of all over the place, but the D major jam from Mississippi Half Step has been a common theme on the electric and I have been messing around a little with the chord progression on Rod Stewart's "You're in my Heart" when I pick up the acoustic.

I'm working on a couple of tunes from Eddie Vedder's soundtrack to "Into the Wild".
Big Hard Sun and Society. I haven't found any tab, so I'm working on them by ear.

Can never play too many songs off that album, or Gold Rush
