Marty Balin? Someone mentioned Grace, but i think Marty had the second best voice in rock. It's No Secret, their first hit, was cool with Marty singing that high tenor.

Roger Daltry is the best in rock IMHO, along with the 3 Band members, Danko, Manuel and Helm, and the Righteous Brothers (OK, pop more than rock).
