My favorite muscian is me...
I know me... personally
I can watch me play anytime I want
I have NEVER received a bad review... nor a good one for that matter
When I get bored with me, I can quit playing for a while....
Etc... etc...
Point being, just about anyone can be fun to listen to and watch for a period of time. Some just get stale sooner than others...
100% subjective...

Curiously off of any of the "Best muscians" lists I've seen here.
Leon Russell.
Still cookin in the small clubs and doing his thing his way..... Live these days, tends to be more rehearsed than I like, however last outing I saw him he did bust it way loose on "Roll away the Stone".

There's a difference between "musicians" and "songwriters"----as for musicians, I think you have to go with people like Segovia, Steve Vai, Mirislov Vitous, Chic Corea, etc.
