You need to quit playing spy games, this isn't a damn investigating game., Its a damn forum. What are you some kind of investigator. Ok so i got carried away with posting, leave it alone, its done, quit kick a dead horse, don't you have other things better to do than to investigate if me and my friend are the same person? Get a life

Hell with these credentials you could get a job with the current administration

^hilarious

anyway about the name being too long...that doesnt always matter really

i think that
"kettle joes psychadelic swamp revue"
was an awesome name for a band

but i guess they didnt...now going as
"donna jean and the tricksters"

i guess donna's name and the already established zen tricksters name is a lot more marketable than kettle joe...but i dont care it doesnt sound as cool

Hmmm, I always have a hard time thinking of names for Dead cover bands. But what I really want to know is, how and why did Weir come up with Ratdog? Anybody know?
I mean, it really isn't a very good name for a band, no matter what type of music they are playing.

Maybe bob someday will play a Wharf Rat into a yeller dog joke back into a wharf rat. Call it the Rat-Dog medley.

it's a bit of a vague reference to WRS, but how 'bout The Wind and Rain for a dead cover band name?

what remains? ...
same old friends ...

q: Well, why don't you tell me the quick RatDog story as far as how it all came together, the name?

a: (Bob Weir): Well OK, the name RatDog, that was me; you know stuff just comes to me.

Just when I first heard it, I was kind of taken aback. My ex-wife and I both used to refer to little scruffy dogs as "rat-dogs" all the time, and it was never a particularly complimentary epithet. At least he didn't go with the Mythical Ethical Icicle Tricycle, or the Hallelujah Hatrack or something like that, I guess.

And the lie comes full circle  . Good job, Koons! We knew you could do it! :-)

As for your band - are you guys actually starting a Dead cover band? Are you playing out? Are you any good? Can we hear any of your tracks (myspace, etc.)?
