how is this even an issue? it takes less than 2 seconds to hit the "back" button. If an irrelevant post like this gets you that pist off then it'd be my guess that the offended has other issues to deal with.

btw the link was posted in "everything else". maybe we should have a new category, "everything else that's not everything else, but still is something" will that clarify?

but this kind of thing goes on all the time on this site from several different posters and you happened to be there when my tolerance wore thin.

I maybe open 20% of the topics in this entire site. when i see something i dont care about, or already know i just skip it. we need to get back to the guitar playing aspect on this site. the song forums should be blowin' up , but theyre not.

This is so strange to me. I have only been reading this forum for a handful of months and it seems like the atmosphere and decorum is degrading rapidly. And about the Dead no less, who I am used to being fairly obscure with a lot of the sources being the same old books, handful of movies, and old friends.
Maybe it is a phenomina of the internet that it hits critical mass rapidly and implodes! Maybe I am revealing my old fogeyness to be surprised by this. Pre internet, to find a person who shared this interest/love was golden. Now the more people involved the ruder it becomes, and not in proportion.

everyones so doom and gloom about the future of the site. we're not having gang wars with molotov cocktails, we're expressing concern over things. i've never seen an actual hardcore fight that wasn't resolved shortly after and i seriously doubt the sites going to dissolve into anarchy because some people decide to be rude with their opinions

Well said, GP123! I've said it before and I will again. This site is just a microcosm of real life. Everyone gets a hair up their respective ass at times and everyone gets sensitive at times. That's life. But thankfully here we have a better goal than the outer world and that's to continue the music of the GD and become better musicians thru a community of like-minded individuals.

If we focus on the ill we impede obtaining our goal!
