My wife loves the Dort and Christmas Ale.I'm almost positive that Great Lakes makes one called Nosferatu...but never tried it. I also think they advertised heavily on th GD hour like 12 years ago.

Lovin' the Dude references. My wife and I love that flick ...just proves to me we were meant for each other. I remenber talking to one chick that said she and her hubby walked out on that movie...I always viewed her as uptight ever since. The Dude abides, indeed!

I'm with bodiddley on this one - i love a nice jack and coke - but since a bottle of Jack Daniels is $80 here in Turkey, that's a rare treat.

Summer time is hittin hard here in Turkey (90-100 degrees every day), so I'm into spending the night on the balcony with a pitcher of icy cold magaritas.

also spent some time in the UK recently, and I love the british beers (or ales). I had so many good ones with names that I will never remember, but a few that come to mind:

1. Samuel Smith pale ale
2. John Smith
3. Newcastle brown ale

When I am not in the role as a full time dad and computer geek, I am a certified beer judge. I judge craft brews for brewfests and homebrews for state and county fairs.

Over the years I have developed the dialect and knowledge of brewing that allows me to describe a beer in words and give advice on how a beer can be brewed to meet the 'style'.

That being said, I love a real hoppy beer. I like to be able to chew on the hops in my beers. I really love the west coast style India Pale Ales and there are a bunch of them that are yummy..


Yummy = brewfest dialect for Gold Medal Winner.

So many drinks...so little time before I fall asleep on the couch ifo the boob tube.

Either Red Stripe or New Castle.....

Mmmmmm... you gotta love those ales.
